“Turn Up the Radio” este singurul single lansat de Autograph in 30 de ani care sa intre atat in Top 40 cat si pe locul 29 in Billboard 100.Chiar daca peste ani a devenit o mostra concludenta de Glam/Heavy Metal specific anilor ’80,la momentul lansari,casa e discuri,RCA nici nu voia sa o adauge pe album,Steve Lynch,chitaristul trupei le impartasea si el sentimentele,spunand ca nu e una din melodiile sale preferate,dar apreciaza atentia pe care a primit-o din partea publicului si crede ca versurile erau potrivte pentru acea perioada.Desi era o practica mai putin intalnita in Glam Metal-ului anilor ’80,melodia a primit si un videoclip in care putem vedea trupa cantant pentru un auditoriu intr-un teatru,incapere in care gasim si robot-ul a carui mana au folosit-o pentru coperta albumului.

Pentru mine,Autograph ramane una din primele 5 trupe Glam cu care am luat contact prima data la inceputul incalcitului periplu prin muzica Rock,alaturi de Def Leppard,Cinderella,Warrant si Bon Jovi.Iar “Turn Up the Radio” mi se pare cel mai bun exemplu de cantec “catchy”(care te prinde) lansat in 1985,o adevarata cauza de One-time fever.
